Ep 106: Reclaiming pleasure and showing up as ourselves with Surabhi Veitch

Today we've got Surabhi Veitch on the podcast.

Surabhi, aka The Passionate Physio, helps folks maximize their pelvic health, strength and pleasure through movement, mindfulness and self-care. As a pelvic physiotherapist and postpartum fitness coach, she offers virtual consultations, educational workshops, and mentors fellow pelvic health and fitpros.

Surabhi embraces her identity as an immigrant from India residing in Toronto, and the layers that her life experience brings. She believes in social justice and dismantling the inherent structures of racism & sexism that exist in healthcare.

As a mom to 2 incredible humans, she is passionate about breaking intergenerational patterns of trauma, and disrupting the status quo on what it means to be a mother. She loves to dance, eat good food (that someone else cooks ), and, last but not least, she absolutely loves deep authentic conversations.

We talk about:
Reclaiming passions, pleasure and culture
Surabhi's values and her why for going into business
Showing up as who you are
Holding space for other peoples lived experience
Creating inclusive spaces
White supremacy delusion
Patriarchy & privilege
And so much more

Let's dive in.
